Our staff audiologist will counsel you to the results following a complete hearing evaluation. The testing that we conduct will assist in defining the nature and extent of your hearing loss. This testing consists of an examination of the outer ear, measurement of the eardrum movement and middle ear and assessment of how you hear sounds and speech as well as your word understanding (inner ear and beyond). The results of the hearing testing are displayed on a graph called and audiogram that depicts the softest level (decibel) that you are hearing at the specific pitch (frequency).
